The build is done. The punch list is shrinking. But between "construction complete" and "keys in the client's hand" sits one job that decides how the whole project feels: the final clean. Construction dust settles on every surface, in every vent, on top of every door — and clients notice it the second they walk in.
Lynett Treasures LLC provides post-construction and final cleaning for builders, remodelers, and property managers across Metro Atlanta, from our home base in Fayetteville, GA.
The three phases of post-construction cleaning
Rough clean — during or right after construction: debris, dust, and trash removed so trades can work and inspect safely
Final clean — the detailed, top-to-bottom clean that makes the home or space ready for the walkthrough
Touch-up clean — a light refresh after the punch-list work, right before handover
Most of our builder clients call us for phase two — the final clean — where the details matter most.
What a final clean includes
Construction dust removed from every surface — walls, baseboards, window frames, tops of doors and cabinets
Inside all cabinets, drawers, and closets
Paint overspray, stickers, labels, and adhesive residue removed
Bathrooms and kitchens detailed and sanitized
Glass, mirrors, and fixtures polished
Floors vacuumed, mopped, and finished to spec — including garages and entryways
Vents and returns dusted out
Why builders hire it out instead of using the crew
Your crew's time is worth more finishing punch-list items than wiping baseboards. A dedicated cleaning team arrives with the supplies, the checklist, and one job: making your work look as good as it is. It also means the walkthrough starts with a client who is impressed — not one making a list.
